Marvel Rivals Announcement of Closed Alpha Test
We are thrilled to announce that Marvel Rivals’ Closed Alpha Test will begin on May 10 at 5:00 PM PDT and run until May 20 at 11:59 PM PDT. Our team is working nonstop to ensure that players have an incredible time throughout this test.
19 of your favorite Super Heroes and Villains are coming to combat with you: Luna Snow, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Groot, Hela, Hulk, Iron Man, Loki, Peni Parker, Punisher, Rocket Raccoon, Star-Lord, Storm, Scarlet Witch, and Spider-Man! Discover three different game modes (Convoy, Domination, Convergence) and three maps (YGGSGARD: YGGDRASILL PATH, YGGSGARD: ROYAL PALACE, TOKYO 2099: SHIN-SHIBUYA) with the most incredible, destructible landscapes ever seen. We want to include new heroes, innovative gameplay, and captivating terrain into next testing. A constantly growing Marvel world awaits exploration, so stay tuned!
Our goals for this test are to improve playability, refine the game modes, and verify all the technological details. We look forward to hearing from you since your opinions are what drive the development of our game.
The tremendous attention and support we’ve received from Marvel fans throughout the globe has astounded us. Although we would be delighted to have everyone involved, we are starting with the approximately 30,000 fortunate gamers who registered for the test.
A test with 30,000 candidates finds its real home in one area as a matchmaking-based multiplayer game where duration, server physical distance, and time zones form the battlefield. Since the majority of sign-ups have come from the United States and Canada, we are concentrating on them for this round. Players that fulfill the required system requirements (see below) will be randomly selected to participate in the test based on the current optimization of the game.
